Turns out that's bullshit.

A company called Les Cadraniers de Genève, which makes dials for F.P. Journe (he doesn't make his dials in-house) was rumored to to have been the same company that made the blue dial for the Overseas.

Well, a guy on WUS wrote to them and the company confirmed they did not.
