>you guys act like there is an absolute right way how to wear clothes
No, the behaviour is simply a reaction of people who get It to something that fails It.

There's no absolute, that's just you being scared and using superlatives

It's pretty obvious there's no absolute when you get people wearing baggy comfy shit getting compliments as well as people in ultra skin fits.

Fashion's just a (lower imo) element of the set of the arts.

You need to learn what's good if you're not fortunate to just get it. You learn you aren't fortunate by people who get it saying you don't.

If you look at a religious Raphael fresco and a Gauguin landscape and you don't see anything in common, then you're in an unfortunate position, but you can learn [...aesthetics e.g. symbolism, use of light etc].

The arts aren't completely subjective, if someone thinks a work of art looks good but fails aesthetics and whatever else we judge art by, then that person has wonky fucking eyes (metaphorically--possibly literally).

If you dress like shit in the game of fashion but are fine with it then good for you but don't post it in a community that cares about the game of fashion.

Sorry for the format (and the prima facie-cringe use of 'game of fashion') I'm reading Wittgenstein's P.I. atm and it seemed to work for this
