I wipe the midsole if I get stuff on it. I've changed my long stance of never using suede protector and have started using crep protect on all my suede sneakers. does the job and doesn't fuck anything up at all. I haven't really had to do a deep cleaning on any shoe in a while, partly because I'm a goon and own a ton of shoes and partly because I have dedicated beater pairs for when I know it's gonna be shitty out
