save your money and buy an automatic. i got picrel as my first >$100 watch. eventually put a domed sapphire on it and switched the metal band to a perlon strap. if you're going to get a battery watch, get a digital display like on a casio or something. don't get analog hands on a battery watch ever, there is a history why clocks and watches use a typical analog method of using hands to show the time. this was born out of necessity due to the mechanical nature of the movement. wearing a battery watch with analog hands is pure mimicry
