Ugh. Heels were created for men originally. Persians invented the heeled shoe to make it easier to ride horses standing up, for going in to battle. I think this happened in the 3rd century, but I'm not 100%. In the middle ages, it became popular for Europeans to copy the styles from the middle east. Then, in about the 18th century, it became fashionable for women to copy elements of men's clothing. Now, we have women falsely claiming that heels were invented to sexualize them.
