Can I get a sanity check before I pull the trigger here?

I wanna get these Arc'Teryx A2B pants (in grey) since Levi's Commuters are too heavy to actually ride in without sweating a bunch.

Would these boots work with them in a biking-to-class context, or should I back off into low-top sneakers?
