I genuinely don't understand why anyone, anywhere, ever, would need a dryer.

I just don't. A normal washing machine has a drying cycle at the end which you should only use at the minimum or 1 notch above that (possibly not at all during the summetime perhaps), and then you just let shit air dry.

I swear this makes no sense to me : you are never supposed to use a dryer for your clothes. I'd understand doing it for towels and bed sheets though, but even then it's not even close to being necessary.

Bottom line : dryers will fuck up your clothes. I fucking guarantee it. Now sell that dryer and use the money to buy some clothes you'll want to take care of properly.
