>mod != /tip/
i think an amalgamation of the two styles is definitely possible, even if that just means getting /tip/ staples in mod cuts. But mod staples already have a lot of crossover with tip staples, like black loafers, red/white socks, knitwear, polo shirts, so theres options. I think a good start would be a typical mod fit but with loafers and a barbour jacket instead of an m-1 parka. Personal style is about adapting and mixing styles to suit you, not adapting yourself to fit just one style.

As nice as this suit is it leaves a little to be desired pallete-wise, it almost requires everything else to be a similaly muddy color to go with it, which leaves out a lot of the shirts and ties ive collected.
I'm considering getting a charcoal suit with blue pinstripes as blue shows up a lot in my shirts and ties, but im not enough of a blue fan to get something as overpowering as a solid blue or navy.
before that though I'm gonna walk backwards in formality and get a grey flecked sport coat (i love flecked wool/tweed)and some chinos/jeans/trousers.
