Sure, even if you are needlessly angry at me.

In the past, I would typically eat 800 calories a day in the beginning of my restriction. I was very hard on myself, any slip up meant the day was ruined, I even would injure myself or go on 2 day fasts if I messed up. This building of pressure made me lose weight very fast, but I would inevitably snap and binge to relieve the pressure of expectation. Binging became the only kind of eating I could do without extreme stress during it, because my brain would shut off entirely. Obviously that's retarded. The only way to then take away the urge to overeat was to take off the pressure, ironically. Doubling down meant it was worse. Gritting my teeth and bearing it made no difference, even after weeks of perfect eating I'd snap. It got to the point where I couldn't even restrict high (1,200 - 1,500) anymore because the pressure was so bad mentally-wise.
I only changed when I stopped hating everything. I did not hate myself, so I saw myself with endless opportunity to improve. I did not worship myself either, I knew I needed improvement. But getting rid of fear and anxiety was just an easy way to attain that improvement and give power solely to my own choices.

Maybe you'd argue I just lost self control and discipline here, that you'd do better just because you would try harder or cut better or whatever. But you miss the point entirely. The point is I had to get rid of the root issue to fix overeating and stay at my deficit, and the only way to do that was to be understanding and kind yet still firm. No more punishment, no more self hatred. Only adaptation and change.
I am eating less. That never stopped. I am just encouraging behavior that makes restriction easier, rather than doubling down on obsession.

>200 cals
>18g carbs
>12g protein
If you love how the bars taste you can still have them as snacks, but 3 a day seems a bit much. If I were you, I would just find multivitamins that meet your needs and switch to protein shakes, and keep eating the raw fruits and veggies.
Even most plant-based shakes I drink have double the protein and much fewer carbs for the same amount of calories. They'll fill you up more and keep you full for longer.

On top of making you hungrier, alcohol is basically the same as drinking pure sugar. Beer is even worse because it's 100% carbs and high calorie. Like >>15965740 said
I'm not against drinking entirely, but beer is literally the worst thing if you're trying to slim down. Switch to hard liquor instead.

>b-but I'm a pussy who can't drink it straight!
Strong cocktails like manhattans or martinis are some of my favorite low-cal drinks. If you want something sweeter then gin + sugar free tonic or vodka + diet coke are really good too. Basically try to avoid cocktails with juice in them, that's how they get you.

>Do calories count?
Yes.
>Or do I piss most of them out?
No, that's not how calories work lol. I've literally never heard this before. I swear people come up with new bullshit diet memes every single day.

Vodka is /thinspo/ approved, especially if you're having it instead of beer or cocktails, but you obviously still need to count the cals.
