>International transfer applications are already open and I've heard back.
Ok, that makes sense. Hopefully Corona will calm its ass down till then as otherwise you won't get much of student life here. Basically last two years were lost here because of it. All college life subdued, mayballs cancelled, no face to face teaching, zoom 'pub' crawls etc. It's been a shitshow.
>I figured maybe people would be doing it up more in Europe.
That's the case but don't expect every other person met on street wearing some snice fragrances.
>it's good to know Carhartt isn't in fashion
It's not, it's just ridiculous to see a son of the Prime Minister wearing workwear and have any workingclass pretense. Integrity.
>Is Full Blue like pro or club sports
Full Blue sports are sports that you can compete on the Varsity against Oxford. After winning you get privileges like access to Blues stash including blazers, ties, sports fleeces etc which are hardest flexes. That's the university-wise level where you often have professional athletes competing. In theory we don't do sports scholarships like in the US here but in practice they often come to do some MBA or other bullshit degree just for the sake of playing sports. Other than that you have intercollegiate level where you can represent your college against other Cambridge colleges. It's way less competitive. I played rugby for my college but wouldn't last 10minutes against Flip Van der Merwe and other Blues rugby players
>I play tennis and soccer club sports here
Both are good, you'll meet great people there. I reckon soccer is a bit more competitive than tennis here but try both. Just be sure to join early. You can also try pick something new like cricket or just do lax that's heavily American-dominated if you'll ever miss your compatriots. Overall try as many clubs and societies as possible (not only sports-related). That's what makes this place enjoyable. Don't be one of these nerds focusing purely on your degree
