You have no idea what you're talking about. The difference between mass produced mid-range garbage like Acne or UO and a handmade five-figure coat by a house like Kiton or Zilli is comparable to the difference between an entry level Mercedes and a fucking Koenigsegg.

People like you who see something that's astronomically beyond their price range always assume it must be pure bluster, that there aren't actual reasons this stuff runs so much, but there are. In the first place, garments like these are not made by sweatshop workers in some impoverished province of a country most people couldn't find on a map. These houses have master craftsmen who have been with the company for years. Their materials are sourced from the best places, and that goes double for skins and furs. Yes they are making a lot of money on their clothes, but their overall operating margins probably aren't much different from mall-tier garbage stores like Hollister and H&M.
