the citizen's contrasting dial really helps significantly now. neither lume is very impressive at this point. even with the aforementioned advantages favoring the citizen, I'd still say the citizen's lume is probably still very slightly better in-and-of-itself.
is it $100+ better? not really. but anon was telling me that even modern expensive brands have lume that doesn't outperform budget models. so if that's true, maybe it doesn't matter anyhow.
