Intermittent fasting. mealcucks days revolve around eating, intermittent fasting after a few weeks you get used to just eating in your eating window. And when you do eat, since you haven't wasted your calories on the bullshit earlier, you can have a real meal and not feel like you are depraving yourself.

Eat slower too, that helps. Really chew your bites and enjoy them. Eat mindfully.

Interesting idea, I've been working on learning Spanish myself. Another benefit of IF besides not being as hungry, is that you get an extra hour to hour and a half by skipping breakfast, snacks and maybe even lunch.

Yeah it usually takes a short while to adjust and then it's very easy. The days is much less stressful since not as hard to stay within your calories, mealtime I eat like a KING, and will all the extra time I have not preparing meals I've taken up some new hobbies and activities. Skipping breakfast and lunch has saved me over an hour each day, which means literally 7-8 hours of extra time per week not prepping, eating or cleaning after meals. I've solved neighborhood mysteries, learned to paint, read some new books, learned the guitar and even saved a kitten from a burning building.
