Really considering a new haircut /fa/,

The last haircut I got was a meme cut of the sides and leave the top long but what the barber did was cut down on the volume at the top and actually left one side of my hair longer than the other in order to let the longer side lay over.

I'm really thinking of going for a buzzcut and start over new and see how long I can grow it with the hair then being even on both sides and maybe by then I'll go back to cutting down on the sides.

Would appreciate the advice.
