most chinese aliexpress brands make stuff that would be 2-10x their price had it been from a major watch brand.
the same is true for most entry microbrands, but to a lesser extent.

what you get with value, you lose it in originality, as many of the watches above are very near homages (not that major watch brands dont do homages...but still)
also they save lots of R&D cost because they use 3rd party movements.
but just like the homage topic, many major brands used, and still do use 3rd party movements. So what is the exact difference?

why should a no-heritage swiss company like B&R have the gall to sell an uninspired SW powered watch for $2000, when a San Martin with even better machining with almost the same movement only sell it at $500?
