I'm asian and so I have really coarse, straight and thick hair.
Started out with my hair looking like pic related and have grown it out to the point where it reaches my lower back.
The problem is that it's really messy, get's knotted very fast, constantly have to brush it and it kind of looks ugly imo.
Any ideas of what I should do to make it better?
Am I supposed to have gotten it thinned out and then layered?
