Anybody get disillusioned after seeing expensive watches in the flesh?
I guess a lot of the beauty and craft is in the movements, otherwise not seen in a boutique window, but other then that, from what Ive seen recently:
>TAG looks like absolute chinesium trash that should be labeled as any fashion watch brand for half the price at least
>Tudor has nice crisp details, but are still yuge, except the BB58, the only one I liked was the North Flag, otherwise they are boring
>Hublot looks like it was solely made with real estate in mind for diamond inlays
>Frederique Constant is so classically boring, it may as well be from Aliexpress or Seiko
>Same goes for some Baume/Mercier models
>Cartier seems like a very niche brand, somehow didnt find the sizing that would be JUST right
>Hate to admit it, but Rolex really has a lot of very subtle details that make (some) models stand out as quality products, I dont get the ladies versions or the bi-metal ones, then there is the price
