Just imagine being out at dinner with qt for the first time and you need to check what time it is because you're taking to a movie afterwards. Well, it's pretty poor form to just whip out your phone man, looks like you're texting/checking something else/not interested, etc.

Anyway, OP, pic related is one of the watches I have. I don't know how old you are, but Fossil is a (relatively) acceptable brand for someone who's only 18. If you're older/have a real job, you'll want to consider stepping it up. This one was cheap, about $150

Poor college fag here OP, I got this one from Fossil for pretty cheap (like $140-$150) and, while it isn't patrician tier IWC or anything, I think it's a nice step up from a Weekendender. Pic related. I get compliments on it all the time, oh plebs pls

It's one of the ones I have and it's a nice deviation from the standard Timex weekender but with a better strap (though most people change the weekender strap anyways) and I've received numerous compliments on it so far and it's not too expensive.
