I'm >>11022494 and same height. I just used MFP per /fit/ recommendation and gradually lowered my consumption.

At first I did 2 pounds per week, then that was too hard once I got lower in weight so went to 1-lb per week. Now I'm struggling to meet that, but keeping headway. I took a break from dieting hardcore in the middle there, or would have been done by now. But, even during my break I lost weight because I've gotten used to eating less.

I think that's the nice thing about doing the gradual deficit method, that you learn as you go what the proper portion sizes are for you and get pretty constant feedback on how you are doing.

tl;dr sign up for MFP and choose how fast you'd like to lose and it will tell you how much you can eat.
