im making some pillows out of what's left of a bunch of blue satin brocade with an awesome dragon design on it that i found for like 1/10th of the price it would have cost new.

i previously made a satin robe for a friend using the majority of said blue brocade.

the remainder is becoming one side of a pillow case for the living room couches. i intend on making at least 4 since i have enough material, maybe 6. i'm thinking of making at least 2 of them with gold corner tassels and/or a gold trim around the edge.

the pics dont do them justice, the backing is also a layered effect, a blue voile over a gold lame so it has a nice iridescent kind of effect because the voile also has a bit of a metallic sheen. overlayed on the gold gives it a unique look.

all the material was found at 2nd hand stores.
