Hmm. I'm about 5'6 as well but I'm a skeleton, all the jeans I have vary from 28" to 30" waists, but I think I prefer 29-30"... sucks to live nowhere near stores that carry the kind of technical clothes we post here, I can't try shit on lol.

I find that I mainly like Japanese streetwear and techwear. But I also like ethnic clothing and patterns (but, being white, of course I can never wear it without looking like a junkie), specifically the kind seen on White Mountaineering pieces.

I think I'd really like the aesthetic idea of sleek, minimal, mainly monochrome techwear garments with SUBTLE ethnic patterns and elements, like toned down colors so they don't clash as bad. I think that'd look really neat. Someone tell me if there's something like this already, though.
