How do you deal with somebody who doesn't like you?

My girlfriend's brother doesn't like me. I'm hispanic and I'm dating a white girl, I doubt this is the problem, but he is always making racist comments. He says things like "I always pictured my sister dating a black guy", or he'll insult my intelligence because of my race, he'll say disrespectful things or he'll try to make jokes on my race which are almost never funny. The rest of the family does kid around and make jokes about my race which is totally fine and I really do like it because I can make fun of myself but the way he jokes around is very offensive. I hate to be the kind of guy who takes offense to things that are supposed to be jokes, but something about the way he says things and his tone just sort of pisses me off.

I realize that the majority of the users of 4chan are racist so I'm not sure if it's a good idea to ask here but I figured what the hell.
