Ayyy I love these shoes. 2 pairs. One for work (these are non-slip, somehow), other for fashuuuun.

I wear anything with them... black skinnies, orange cargos, light wash 80's jeans, to the gym... People love 'em. They try to figure out what brand they are, but no one is going to get it. Outside of Russia, they're pretty rare. Though they are neat to look at in composition, most of the design elements and nuances are pulled from a variety of shoes that were popular in days past. Love my slav shoes, 10 months on the white, 3 months on the black (wear the darkies to work 5 days a week, 6+ hours behind the bar and sometimes serving. Only thing I've done is wipe the leather with a wet cloth to remove sticky stuff and oil splashes, and replaced the laces on the white ones when I received them. Had to cut some little dangling threads off the edge of the velcro, but nothing structural or otherwise falling apart at all.

I wear a sz11 in CDB and I got sz11.5 in white, just in case. They fit, but best with thick socks, so great in the winter. The black ones I ordered in a sz11 and they fit better, even with merino hiking socks (which I wear daily to work for dry feet). Size11 also hug my foot after a couple of days wearing them, and they're like a second skin with a thick sole.

I don't use insoles, as I have relatively flat feet, and have experience no pain since wearing them. I think, with an insole insert, I would need to wear the sz11.5 to accomodate the extra thickness below my foot.
