Some people actually like how the cheap shitter looks like. I have one too and love the small proportions. The dial is pleasant to look at. The example that you posted, well the dial is actually not so nice, looks generic and hands and markers look strange. Not criticising your taste, just wanted to show that some people like how the shitter looks.
Most get it because it's so cheap and they can throw it away and treat like crap. But i treat my watch nicely and trying not to scratch it.
