Yes. I am edgy.

I love abortions, Quentin Tarantino movies, atheism, body mutilation, serial killers, death metal, and hardcore drugs.

A vintage Soviet-era watch, however, is all what it takes to become Satan himself.

You give your professors gifts?

I gave my astronomy teacher a Raketa Copernicus. I've never seen a 70-something year old man cry before until I gave him that Commie mechanical.

>"Why are you giving me this? I never asked for this."
>"It's a gift, sir. You are the fucking bee's knees."
>"That's just grand."

pic related, its something like this

Yeah, what do you want to know?

I will give you one solid piece of advice:

***Be suspicious.***

Most Raketa watches will come from Eastern Europe, and most sellers from over there have a poor command of the English language. This means that they cannot give true 100% disclosure on the condition of the watch, specifications, etc. There are also some sellers that are just dishonest.

When you buy a vintage Raketa, operate on the assumption that there is something wrong with it. I would only recommend Raketa if you have experience in watchmaking. Most pieces that you buy on eBay will need some minor servicing. You may also find some "frankenwatches"-- a watch slapped together with pieces from other watches.

I bought a Copernicus from eBay, it seemed authentic enough, but when I opened it I found a Seiko automatic movement. Seiko movements aren't bad at all, but I was expecting a vintage Russian hand-wind movement. I was lucky, though, whoever made this franken did a quality job retrofitting a Seiko movement into this old watch.

So yeah, be careful out there.

So i ordered two button down shirts from uniqlo

S and M

I am 5'8 and 140. somewhat skinny but with wideish shoulders

The S fits well in the body but is a bit small in the shoulders. Also gives the shoulders a slightly rounded look (found this true with most button downs, might be posture)
The M is big in the body and long as fuck, but ok in shoulder

what do i do?

You gotta love the Russian mechanicals. Here's mine. I'm thinking of replacing the strap. Any suggestions?

Also. >6308223 Nice watch. Those Seiko divers are sweet.

I think it looks great. I was going to buy one myself, but then I ran into a Raketa Copernicus. I copped that shit instead.

The Zero has a bold design. It's ballsy without being tacky (someone is going to disagree with this, I know).

I have a feeling that I recommended a Big Zero to you a few days ago in a watch thread. Wassup.

You should always look into Russian Podeba, Raketa, or Luch mechanical watches. Those things have a lot of charm and they make excellent additions to any watch collection.

I recently copped this, I'm just looking for a good NATO strap.

The watch is:
>Raketa Copernicus (Copernic / Kopernik)
>Mechanical Movement

I love the sun and moon motif created by the round dials--an "eclipse" occurs every hour.
