The maintenance on a penisquartz is no different than any other quartz. They should be disassembled and cleaned every few years; if you don't, they'll probably keep running for decades anyways. The watches run a huge gamut of quality; the last two steel 9983-7000 pieces I saw on Yahoo Jo sold for around 2k usd while cheaper ones and go for under 10 USD. There's always plenty available on Yahoo jp but if you're looking for rarer, higher end models, it can involve a couple months of waiting. I've been looking for a particular model of a 3883 for a little over a year.

The 4883 was not rated at 5spy, but rather at 12spy. It was part of the 3883-4883-9983 line (the aesthetic similarities are pretty apparent, especially compared to the other 9481 and 9681 Superiors).

Well yes. I believe the trimmers are varcaps that change the properties of the LRC circuit the quartz crystal participates in to change the resonant frequency, though I'm not 100% sure. The twin quartz models have two trimmers, although trimming the auxillary crystal is supposedly pretty difficult to do right.

That doesn't look like an original bracelet but otherwise appears to be in decent shape. 500usd is fine I guess if not particularly good. High-end penis quartz prices on eBay are all over the place, there's no real rhyme or reason to it.
