Hello,
I am getting these flakes in my hair (picture) and they always seem to come up around this time of the year. What should I do to minimize them? I just picked up some conditioner and started using it along with a little shampoo in hopes that it would go away, but it looks like it got worse.

Is it dandruff, unhealthy scalp or something else? I have some clay pomade and oil I could put in there too. Sorry they are hard to see in the picture, but they are pretty bad, making me not want to get a haircut or socialize.
