Is it better to get a cheap shirt from Uniqlo and tailor the fuck out of it for twice the price it's worth or do the same to a more expensive shirt ($40-$80-ish)? Also, where can I find the best shirts in that price range?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but after QC checks, do manufacturers give their lower quality items to shops like Backcountry or END and save their higher quality items to sell themselves?
