I'm some kind of attractor for weird and terrible shit, and I always have been. It's like madening and entertaining, simultaneously.

Even if I make an effort to stay alone and keep my mouth shut, going out for the night means some shit's gonna go down. Either some guy starts a fight, there's a dead body in front of the pizza place, the guynext to me on the train is openly smoking crack or a strange and distant pal bumps into me with a chunk of 5MeO-DDPT. Always something weird.

I thought I could escape it, up here in the mountains, but it's still here - and there are more fucking nut jobs in these hills than in ten NYCs. And they all have loads of guns, pure-ass shit right offa the I-95, little glass pipes and no problem with shooting anyone who wanders into their grow.

Everyone's using down here, if they aren't alcoholic already. It's fucking weird how I seem to see more crime in the rural south than I did in New York.
