I don't care about heritage, history, ownership, I care about beauty and finishing quality of the watch and the full movement, and Lange has the best finishing in the entire industry with the very few exceptions of totally hand especialized independents like Dufour, Voutilainen or Rexhep Rexhepi, whose watches start at around 100k.
A beautiful entry level Lange 1 has a movement finishing not even Patek, Vacheron or AP can dream to compete.
And yes, finishing is what's most important to me. It's what separates simple higher end from ultra luxury.
