I bought a pair of Adidas Samba 7 or so years ago. The tongue squeaked against the upper as I walk. I tried scoring the leather or not tying so tight/looping differently but it keeps persisting.
The only option I found is to flip the tongue since it is so thin but it still ends up being uncomfortable and looks bad so I just tossed them in the closet and got something else.
The last pair of shoes my GF bought me are starting to fall apart and the only option I have without going out and buying new shoes are these.
They are still in great condition; only wore them a few times, but the issue still persists.
Any ideas on what I can do to fix this or should I just buy a something new?
