Still not proof that socialism works, just look at Venezuela, a socialist country that "worked" for years but turned into a dystopian shithole after oil prices went down and their economy got thrashed because the people in charge of the centralized economy were incompetent and invested poorly.
Also your argument for long lasting socialism can be disproved by looking at the USSR which infected countries world wide by funding bloody revolutions and setting up puppet governments, still collapsed eventually and the people living there had a much lower quality of life when compared to capitalist countries and the effects of that are still visible today.
