I branched out to other boards I had a vague interest in (I usually browse /a/, /v/, and /mu/). As for what I have gained, I learned the basics of how not to look like shit. Beyond that, /fa/ has exposed me to a lot of clothing I didn't know about.

Not really, most of the posters here seem to either be Europeans or North Americans. Also, I don't really ask for advice because whenever I do it causes a shitstorm.
