hey guys, i am at a crossroad in my life, and im turning to /fa/ for advice (i prolly gonna regret it but idc) so i just failed first year of mech engineering due to being too lazy, now im deciding if i should go study fashion design or eroll back into engineering, but the trick is that getting into fashion design college isnt all that easy, i basically have to work for a year and take drawing and sewing courses and then take the test that is required to actually get into the school. so the way i see it is if i go to engineering ill bust my ass to finish it and then ill pretty much be guaranteed a job, my parents will support me and so on, but if i decide to go to fashion design college ill have to basically pay for everything including rent myself and there is also a chance that im unemployed after i finsh it.

it all sounds so stupid but basically its like chasing a dream vs. geting a respectable job that i might or might not hate. and another problem is that im actually ashamed of telling people that im taking a year of to get into fashion design school. What would you do in my situation /fa/?
