My memes have arrived. Someone dun fucked up, because I got two bottles of Virtus. Only charged ordered one, but hey, free shit. I will note, both came with free travel atomizers and one came with a hand-signed letter from /ourcuck/.

Impressions right off the bat: Virtus smells niche-quality. Date absolutely does not.

Virtus, you get lots of resins and spice, it’s very rich and heavy, a little bit tropical. Lots of tobacco and honey. Sort of reminds me a bit of Back to Black, but with tropical fruit notes and something a bit “darker” that I can’t quite put my finger on.. Actually pretty snice.

Date, well, it’s exactly what you’d expect. Candy sweet, big citrus opening, fresh with a little spiciness. Very generic, very synthetic. Kind of smells a bit like Juicy Fruit gum. Does get a bit less sweet as it dries, but still very generic. Not hating, trying to be as objective as possible here. It really does smell like something you could grab at Macy’s for 60.00. Nothing at all unique about it. Glad I used the VIP50 code, because if I’d paid anywhere near full price I’d be pissed.

So yeah. Date, don’t bother with. Just buy whatever JPG or whatever for a quarter of the price. Virtus, actually pretty interesting. Seems like /ourcuck/ might actually be putting some effort into his brand.
