It's a problem if you want to resale, but I hold on to my watches, so who cares.

When I see a busted quartz Omega, Longines, etc. I just tell the customer that the movement is just a standard ETA quartz with and extra Omega logo printed on it, and if they want it can be swapped for a bone-standard ETA, because it's the exact same movement.
