Went over to the boutique/store of this local maker, Leon Denim, where they basically do reproductions and homages of mid 1900s workwear and servicewear using premium denim and textiles from Japan and such.
Getting a pair of jeans from them in a slim, straight cut (just waiting for them to hem now); I'd rather pair the nice boots with pants that are a little more dignified than just Uniqlo's stretch selvedge.
