Reposting from the /g/ thread, as an anon told me theres a guy with an Imperial that sometimes posts here.

Im really digging that Celadon Imperial chinkwatch, but I think I got hooked on pretty marketing. Are they actually as good of a craftmanship achivement as they claim, and the price is just so low because the chinese goberment subsidizing the craftsmen services + selling at a loss to create a following, or its just fancy looks and shitty quality?

Also, is the peacock dial too much? I love it but I dont know if its too queer for someone that isnt a geisha in feudal japan.
