rick has done punk/grime/texture a little, but it isn't a central feature of his clothes the way it is for bbs. off the top of my head rick has done acrylic painted drkshdw stuff, the 'hog' wash for his denim, and reverse-calf leather boots. maybe a waxed cotton thing here or there. but these are terminal projects. look at most things in his mainline and the garments. although they are processed/washed to be soft, they are still clean.

i misspoke/mistyped. drape is involved a little but what i meant to say was that boris is concerned with layering at a depth rick is not. sure, yes, rick does layers. but when was the last time you saw him wearing four different tops of different lengths?

next, your definition of luxurious decay as punk is not disagreeable, but i meant punk in a more aesthetic and historically rooted sense, not abstract or in terms of attitude.

i haven't seen thom's new line.
