It literally demonstrates the typical buyer of a high end watch does not want a precision timepiece, they want something to sit on the wrist and look good only. Function is unimportant. Strictly appearance only. And from the other side it means the manufacturers are not looking for people to maintain their products, they must sell fine without the support. And they do not promote the CW21 certified so the typical buyer just goes to any guy who says he can work on watches or never maintains them unless they have a issue of appearance. Also the hurdle to get into the profession is high time-wise for training and getting needed experience. There are trades with a better turn around to get income.
