Hello, thinspo. I'm new to this, but I'm quite determined (also I'm already rather skinny at 53kg, but also a manlet, so just a bit more to go) I have a question:

I'm trying to keep my calorie count within 1000 per day. I'm doing it, but something feels wrong. It's too easy, and I'm not saying that in a braggy sort of way- I feel like I'm doing something wrong or counting calories wrong.

For example, I'd cook rice, a steamed piece of fish, scallops, and using a mobile calorie counter it only adds up to 400. Same with a prepared treacle marinated beef and Jersey potato dish from the supermarket- 450kCal. Is this correct? As long as I keep within 1000 per day I'm safe, and the kind of food doesn't really matter?

I feel like I'm doing something wrong and when I see "low-calorie diets" like what ballerinas eat, they seem to survive on celery and raw carrots. Rice and beef are surely a no-no.

Much appreciated, /fa thinspo.
