When growing up, I always associated Converse with teenage girls, but apparently some Converses are considered fashionable by genders and ages other than girls who are sixteen years old and younger.

I live in Manhattan and the CDG Play x Converse sneakers are on about one in four people. Jack Purcells I see somewhat often. Are there any other Converses that are considered fashionable? John Varvatos collabs, for example?

Opinions on the different types of Converses, /fa/? And, for the ones considered pleb, are they considered pleb for the same reasons I gave (as in, associations with girls in high school), or others, such as no stitched sole?
