Stirner was the first egoist. He firmly believed everyone should live their entire lives around whatever was best for themselves, and that any moral code based on other people or on any concept of society was delusional. Whatever makes you happiest and most fulfilled is morally the most correct.
Spooks are the social obligations and constructs imposed on you by others (like trying to earn pseud cred on /lit/) that do not directly benefit you, and therefore in Stirner's eyes are hollow. Egoism is about identifying spooks and preventing them from controlling you.
