Casual wide-brims for the masses.

Or maybe not the masses. The small masses. We're talking the electron subgroup of people really. Small, but ever-present, you know. A little too in-depth for a casual metaphor, but you get it, hats are cool.

Stick with wide-brims, don't do anything too short like a fedora. I personally prefer short and flat topped, but you can definitely do round, just beware. Sun hats aren't a bad idea.

I'd generally stay away from fedoras, formal hats, and especially flatcaps/driver caps.

Try Ann D, The Soloist, Vivienne Westwood, or looking out at any higher-end asian brand. Also check places that stock Japanese brands.

For cheaper options, look for a local hat shop, any sizable city should have one someone, even it's a hole-in-the-wall type place at this point.

A good hat, like a good leather, isn't going to be particularly cheap.
