entire labels have "intentionally tacky" as a running theme. juun j is the first to come to mind. lots of other japanese labels if they don't have tacky as a running theme, flirt often with camp and kitsch. DBSS is a good example, their sneakers are monstrous. outside of japan as well. berhard willhelm, raf simons at times, dries van noten's menswear as well.

even if it isn't a regular theme, many designers will challenge rules and boundaries in fashion. a raft of designers took on maximal jogging sneakers (like asics) in 2008-2010, continues to be pushed though i haven't seen it take off except for rafidas. jil sander's s/s 2015 featured socks in sandals, dries as well iirc
