you shouldn't get a tattoo for the sake of having a tattoo. if you have a motive that really means something to you, that's personal and important enough that you permanently imprint it on some part of your body, you might go ahead and THINK about wanting a tattoo. you know, first and for the most part because you'll just look like a generic fuck with a generic tattoo and second, if you do find a meaningful tattoo design you might not hate yourself for getting it a year later.

I too dig the idea of having a tattoo, like I'm a big fan of this design, but I would never get it because it's nothing personal or significant and I'll just regret it. still hoping for one day to come up with something though.
