I feel like I'd like a nice mechanical for dressier situations (watches are cool anyways), any recommendations based on this? If it can pull double duty for daily wear then the utilitarian features I identified are something to consider, but that's a secondary optional use case

automatic? the original thought is this isn't primarily for daily wear so sacrificing some convenience for higher end options is anticipated

I like a date/calendar feature (window is fine but like the wenger is pretty cool if busy) and a second timezone (either bezel or subdial)

steel bracelet preferred but leather ok

wrists are are on the smaller size IMO. I prefer a large watch, but only whatever I can actually get away with
