I'd probably just clip the sides a bit, and heavily deep condition it and create some curls

you should also try stretching it, but if you have only 3 days, I could just trim the sides, like a fade, and then use a curl sponge and/or deep condition the top and create curls.

yeah, growth could be stagnate, or you might have alot of shrinkage.
have you pulled on some hairs to see if they're actually the same length, and not just super kikny and thus "short" looking?

I'm in a similar boat, it seems like my hair hasn't grown much in a while, but it seems like it has, Its just not as obvious+ alot of hair is breaking off I think.
