They do pretty good work; thorough approach to textile sourcing, fairly innovative patternmaking etc.

The Rick influence is still pretty blatant, but other than their weak footwear I'd say I prefer sftm.

Looks awkward in fit pics I think because there's often not a lot of synergy between pieces they put out even within the same collection, and there's just something about it that's not as 'sporty' or s/t as rick.

Mifune has had dealings with them iirc, said they've got some good stuff on the horizon and were friendly people, so the accessibility for us in Aus is nice too.

I think the chick is the patternmaker/designer, could be wrong though.
My favourite collection is probably FW11 Milieu, they did some sick boiled wool coats, got their foot in the door with the scene in Aus with the runway and the whole wool thing too.

Pretty hard to pick any one collection out based on their lookbooks though, not a great amount of content in them and the styling is consistently pretty shit

Honestly though there's a pretty massive power gap for me in my rating of creative output, and therefore research I've done on bodies of work between Sruli and any of the others.
So from this depth in it's more or less >opinions

>What's the finish of True Predation like?
Hard to describe. The hand is sort of like a suede with an extremely smooth nap, but altogether it still drapes and feels like a conventional leather. Varies throughout the piece though, theres some fluffier patches, in some parts you can see the reindeers spots etc. Its definitely durable enough, I've worn it to bars, clubs and parties and that sort of thing, never been worried about it tearing or anything. Surprisingly not that warm though, but that doesn't matter too much here.

Don't be, it's tough to find info on this stuff and it's nice to talk about it with someone else that's versed in it first hand. I lurk a fair bit so if you ever have any sizing questions or w/e make a thread and I'll prob see it.
