Honestly Nazis had the best style. But that's because it was a key feature of their ideology. They wanted to present the Ubermensch look. I read The Rise & Fall Of The Third Reich recently - a book written by an Americlap who had lived in Germany during the rise of Hitler. He said one of the key features of Nazism that attracted people was that the rest of Europe, especially the British, looked like raggedy, malnourished bums, while the Germans, even though in many regards they were poorer and more down trodden, focused on their young men dressing and styling themselves to the nth degree and maintaining dogmatic fitness regimes. It was good PR.
